As this year’s presidential campaign winds down to its final days, both candidates have leaned on celebrity endorsements to help in their efforts to get out the vote, with Jon Bon Jovi among a number of musicians stumping for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Ted Nugent appearing at a Michigan rally alongside Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Bon Jovi, already on the promotional trail in support of his band’s new This House Is Not for Sale LP, put in an appearance with Clinton vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine at a rally in St. Petersburg, Fla., performing an acoustic set that included “Who Says You Can’t Go Home,” “Lost Highway,” “Livin’ on a Prayer” and — as seen above — “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Kaine sat in on harmonica for the performance, which found Bon Jovi telling the crowd of 800, “There are more people in this room than decided the election in 2000, and we all know the impact that had.”

Nugent, meanwhile, showed up onstage during a Trump rally at the Freedom Hill Amphitheater in Sterling Heights, Mich., telling supporters, “There’s not many things that would get me out of a deer camp in Michigan in November: God, family, country, Michigan and Donald Trump for President.”

Insisting that he knows “the real Michigan is alive and well” and “ready to kick ass,” Nugent added, “I’m here because I was born and raised to be a productive American in the asset column, by that spirit of real Michigan, that spirit of the greatest state of the nation, that should not, that must not get lumped in with California and Illinois and New York and New Jersey and Maryland and Massachusetts.”

Nugent, who delivered his own musical performance with renditions of “Fred Bear” and “Never Stop Believing,” made headlines by grabbing his crotch after telling the crowd “I’ve got your blue state right here” and warning voters, “Each and every one of you have only 24 hours to convince the numb nuts that you know, that you can’t vote for criminals, you can’t vote for liars, you can’t vote for scam artists.”

Bon Jovi’s and Nugent’s appearances aren’t the last voters can expect in the waning hours of the election. Bruce Springsteen is scheduled to appear alongside Bon Jovi at Hillary Clinton’s final rally, to be held at Independence Hall in Philadelphia tonight.
