BlueClaws Collecting Gloves For Charity
After this season ends, BlueClaws pitching coach Brian Sweeney will head to Argentina with Baseball Miracles, an organization that brings baseball and softball to boys and girls with economic and environmental disadvantages throughout the world.
The BlueClaws, Sweeney, and Baseball Miracles are collecting baseball and softball gloves as part of the 1 Glove project. The goal is to collect gloves to be given out to help grow baseball across the world.
The BlueClaws will be collecting gloves, both new and used, at their final homestand, which ends on September 4th. Donations will be collected at the New Jersey Natural Gas Information Booth on the concourse behind home plate.
