Blackened Friday With Metallica Comes To New Jersey

Metallica announced on their website Thursday November 17 will lead into "Blackened Friday" to celebrate the release of their latest album "Hardwired...to Self-Destruct."

100 record shops in North America will open their doors at 11:59pm and begin selling one minute later, allowing those fans to be the first to buy the new album. Fans can also get prizes and giveaways, including a limited edition vinyl slipmats as well as posters.

Jack's Music Shoppe in Red Bank is the only store in our area that will be participating, but you can get the full list here.
