Bill Nye the Science Guy, a show for pre-teens that aimed to make science exciting and entertaining, won nineteen Emmy Awards during its run (1993 to 1998).

The show is often used in schools as an education medium, and it still airs on some PBS stations.

Bill believes he has helped kids become interested in and understand science, and I think he's right.
