In 1968, Bill Cosby released an album called Bill Cosby Sings Hooray for the Salvation Army Band, which featured his unique take on a number of classic songs including "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles.

The album also featured Cosby taking on The Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" as well as Sam and Dave's "Hold On, I'm a Comin.'"

In addition, Cosby parodied Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze" and Wilson Pickett's "Funky Broadway."
