Berkeley Holds Annual Boat Parade & Memorial Day Commemoration

The Berkeley Shores Homeowners' Civic Association will hold their annual Boat Parade, Blessing of the Fleet, and Memorial Day Commemoration this weekend.

The festivities will begin at noon on Sunday the 29th (rain date May 30 at noon). Local Clergy will bestow blessings on participating vessels for a safe cruising season. After the blessing, a Memorial Day Commemoration Service to fallen veterans will be conducted off the Amherst Beach.

The Central Regional JROTC Color Guard will present the colors and Taps will be played.

Following the Boat Parade, from 1-3pm, the Berkeley Shores Homeowners' Civic Association hosts refreshments on Amherst Beach.
