Belmar is raising the prices of all their beach badges - daily, seasonal, senior, and the disabled.

Council President Tom Brennan said bad weather over the past two summers has resulted in less beach money coming in, requiring a rise in badge prices.

A daily pass for Belmar will go up one dollar to $9; a seasonal pass jumps from $55 to $70. Seniors and those with disabilities will see their passes double from $15 to $30. Kids 15-and-under and active members of the military and their families are still free.
