Barnegat woman, missing for a week, resurfaces

The search for Lisa Consiglio, the Barnegat 45-year-old whose disappearance became known December 12, comes to an agreeable end, according to Barnegat police.

In a two-line Facebook note, police simply said that she was located, and is safe, acknowledging the public's help.

They offered no details regarding whether she was found or simply returned, circumstances that would have led to her disappearance, where she had been, or why her car was found unoccupied on Route 9 near a NJ Transit bus stop the day she was reported missing.
