Hard to believe that is the final week of the regular season. The Giants control their own destiny for the NFC East title Sunday night, while the Jets need some help. The perfect week continues to elude me
Football fans have a reputation for being a little too rowdy. I am one and I know it is partially true. We drink a bit too much before the game at time. There is an occasional fight in the stands as well. I do know one thing though. We have NOTHING on European soccer fans.
One of the biggest cliches in the world is the statement. "everyone has a right to their opinion". While that is true and your right as a human being. It should NOT mean that you should be allowed to say rubbish things and have people accept that drivel.
We all at times question our lot in life. We wonder why we weren't born into millions of dollars and complete frauds like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton were. Many times we all just wish we could get a taste of the high life for just a little while. David Dopp got that chance when he won a Lamborghini in a contest.
I think as Americans we have a lot of things we are good at. We are good at eating , we are great at sports, but what we are the best at is complaining. We like to complain so much that we even have a list of words we hate. No matter how many issue we have in our lives we still seem to have too much time.
I know almost everyone reading this is looking forward to the opportunity to retire. We know life is short and to survive we have to spend a lot of it working. People who decide to work their entire lives and never take a break upset and confuse me.
Twenty five years ago we all figured that the year 2000 would bring a world similar to The Jetsons, only with cell phones. Seriously, the creators of the show thought of almost everything OTHER then those. Almost 12 years later we still haven't gotten to the level I think we need to be. Google is one company that is trying to push things where they need to be.
This time of year is supposed to be the season of giving. Over the weekend most people were trying to scramble to get last minute gifts. A couple of sports legends were having a lot more trouble then just finding presents. Both Kobe Bryant and Deion Sanders are getting divorced.
