Neil Young and Crazy Horse are going back on the road for the first time since 2004. Beginning Oct. 3 in Windsor, Ontario, they will play arenas 23 cities across North America before finishing up on Dec. 4 in Bridgeport, Ct. Young will also co-headline the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival with Metallica on Aug. 10-12.

Jackson Browne, whose songs have always looked at the intersection of matters personal and political, will perform at a ‘Get Out the Vote’ rally in Madison, Wis. on June 1. The rally is in advance of the recall vote of Wis. Gov. Scott Walker on June 5. The free event, which will be held at the Madison Labor Temple at 5:30PM, will also feature Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, and Tim McIlrath of the punk band Rise Against.
June 5 will see the release of ‘Analog Man,’ Joe Walsh‘s first album since 1992′s ‘Songs for a Dying Planet.’ In a new interview, Walsh said that while touring with the Eagles has taken up a lot of his time, another reason for the delay is the result of quitting drinking in 1994.
Simon and Garfunkel will not record again, according to Paul Simon. Speaking to Rebecca Jones of BBC Radio 4′s ‘Today‘ program, Simon said that a problem with Art Garfunkel’s vocal chords has affected his ability to sing in the middle of his range.
