What's up guys. Thanks for checking my page out. In a nutshell...I LOVE my job! I'm pretty lucky to be able to say that. I love the Hawk listeners and I never take you guys for granted. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to do this everyday. I thank you for your support and for your passion for Classic rock. I love the Mets, Rangers, and Chicago Bears! The Doors. Pink Floyd. Billy Joel, and Phil Collins are some of my favorite artists. The Jersey Shore is one of the greatest places to live. I know Jersey gets a bad rap sometimes but "F" em' all. We got beautiful beaches and more importantly, beautiful women.Not bad for being in our own backyard..No time for the haters!!! I was saying on the air today  that if I was a baseball player, or professional wrestler, or I just had "theme" music to enter a room,  I would walk out to AC/DC "Thunderstruck", or Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold"

The Lovely Christina would walk out to "Numbered Days" by Killswitch Engage or "Deliverance With" by Opeth

How the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Craze All Started [VIDEO]

Pete Frates is the inspiration behind the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" craze. He was diagnosed with ALS back in 2011. Shortly thereafter, people started doing the Ice Bucket Challenge for different charities.

Pete wanted to do the challenge, but couldn't because of what ALS was already doing to HIS body.

Pete went on social media and asked people to do the "Ice Bucket Challenge" on his behalf and make a donation to ALS.

That's when the Ice Bucket Challenge went viral.

ALS Victim Does ALS Challenge [VIDEO]

This is truly an inspiring video.

His name is David Kurt McClain, and he is an ALS Victim.He cannot speak, eat or drink.  He needs a special computer keyboard to communicate. He is paralyzed from the shoulders down.

Yet HE decided to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

He says in the video that as bad as his condition is, he still keeps a positive attitude

Robin Williams: Early Stages of Parkinson’s

In a statement released by Robin Williams wife, Susan Schneider stated that Williams was diagnosed with Parkinson's. She also stated that his sobriety was intact

Aerosmith Cancels Tour Date Due to Illness

Aerosmith Drummer Joey Kramer who has had heart issues in the past is once again dealing with some heart issues, and the band has to cancel an upcoming show with more cancellations possible.

From Aerosmith's website:
SAN FRANCISCO (Aug. 13, 2014) - Due to illness, Aerosmith has been forced to cancel the LET ROCK RULE tour date on Aug. 13 at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA.  The band regrets not being able to perform for their fans.  Refunds will be available at point of purchase.
