The television series premiered on October 2, 1955.

It has also aired in reruns over the years and is available on DVD, as well.

The Master of Suspense, Hitchcock himself, would introduce each spine-tingling episode with his unique, droll presentation.

A blend of mystery and the macabre with comedy, the show was without a doubt one of the strangest things on t.v. back in the day.

I remember it was one of my favorite shows as a kid as creepy and bizarre as it was, because it appealed to my darker side.

It was one of my mother's favorites, too. Her leaning towards the darker side of things is best left for another blog. ha
