Another Great White Shark ‘Pings’ In New Jersey Waters

Mary Lee may still be the dominant force in NJ waters, but she isn't alone.

Mary Lee hasn't 'pinged' since mid-June, and right around that time we told you about Cisco, a smaller and younger male great white.

OCEARCH has been tracking another female great white shark, Miss Costa, off the coast of New Jersey. The 12 foot, 1,688lb immature female isn't quite at Mary Lee's size (16 foot, 3,400lb), but she still has time to grow...and the picture that OCEARCH tweeted is no less terrifying.
