Andy Chase’s Favorite Blogs 2015 Crazy Scene at the Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon [Video]

Of all the year's we have doing the Radiothon, this is probably one of the most memorable!!! Absolutely crazy

All week, Steve has been in New Jersey with our longest-running affiliate, 105.7 The Hawk, helping out with their yearly radiothon to support a local charity called Ocean of Love. Afternoon guy Andy Chase lives on top of a billboard for an entire week to raise money and awareness for Ocean of Love. The organization supports the families of children with cancer in Ocean County, New Jersey.

Every year, the community comes together to raise $105,700 for Ocean of Love, with donations ranging from nickels and dimes to thousands of dollars. Last night, the police, fire, EMS and rescue crews in Toms River decided to put on a little bit of a show.

They pooled their resources and all showed up at the same time to make their donation. There were over 20 emergency vehicles and 100 people that showed up and they dropped off a massive check for $9,500. The scene was pure chaos.
