I have always wanted to make pizza. With real ingredients. In a real pizza oven. And.... In an actual pizzeria...Today I got my chance. It was awesome!

So.....our friends over at Johnny G's Pizzeria in Toms River invited us down to help them celebrate 20 years in business and taught Varacchi and I how to make a real Italian pizza. I can use a little more practice, but hey it was my first time. Shockingly...MY pizza was delicious!! I have to admit...Varacchi's was good too!!!! Big thanks to Johnny G and his staff for letting us take over his kitchen. We really had a blast tossing the dough and just having fun

Their food is delicious, and to celebrate 20 years, on February 2nd,  from 11a-10p, they are rolling back their menu prices to when they first opened their doors in 1996. They are located at 1812 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753
