Andy Chase is Eating Cheese for Charity on Friday at the Melting

The Melting Pot Restaurant is back in business at 2 Bridge Ave in Red Bank, and tomorrow (Friday 6/29) is their official grand opening at noon.

But before they start serving the delicious fondue to their customers once again, there will be a "Charity for Cheese" fondue eating contest that I will be participating in.

I will be going up against the Mayor of Red Bank. Members of the Chamber of Commerce. The VP and GM of the Count Basie Center for the Arts, and others.

The winner receives $1,000 for the charity of their choice! Of course, I will be competing on behalf of Ocean of Love.

There will also be a Fondue for a Year Giveaway at 11:50a, then a ribbon cutting to make their grand opening official.
