Amy Poehler Developing NJ-Based Show For HBO

Amy Poehler is working with John Roberts and H. Jon Benjamin to develop a new series for HBO. The series "Edison" will follow a real estate broker who lives in Edison, NJ.

Comedian/actor John Roberts grew up in Edison before achieving a level of stardom in a YouTube series.

Since then, Roberts has gained fame as Linda Belcher on FOX's "Bob's Burgers", also starring H. Jon Benjamin. Benjamin will stick with Roberts as a co-writer of "Edison."

I'm legit excited for this show. Linda is one of my favorite parts of Bob's Burgers, and I'm interested to see how Roberts will do on-screen rather than voice-acting. I also love literally every single thing H. Jon Benjamin has ever done, so having him attached as a writer is a good sign.
