The Allman Brothers have had to postpone their remaining Beacon Theater shows last night, tonight (the 26th), and for the remainder of the week on the 28th and 29th because of illness.

Founding member Gregg Allman was forced to sit out the past couple of shows in the Allman Brothers Band‘s run at the Beacon Theatre in New York City due to bronchitis, and now the four remaining scheduled shows have been postponed indefinitely.

Allman Brothers fans had to endure some previous bad news when It was announced early in the year that guitarists Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks were leaving the band at the end of the year.

That news was followed by the announcement that 2014 would be the final year of the Allman Brothers as a touring act. :-(
