Happy birthday to U2's Adam Clayton, who's currently hard at work on the 13th U2 Album.

U2's bassist was born on March 13, 1960 in Oxfordshire, England (but raised in County Dublin).

Bono announced in January that U2 is making a new record and that he and the rest of the band don't care if this newest record takes 10 years to be released, "they just want to get it right".

Luckily, fans won't have to wait quite that long.

Expect the new album, reportedly called "Ten Reasons to Exist" sometime in September, according to spin.com.

In other U2 news, The Edge's Music Rising charity has launched a Hurricane Sandy relief fund to support music programs affected by the disaster.

And by the way, Bruce Willis just bought Adam Clayton's NYC apartment last month, at a cool $8 million.
